In the very core of the woods is the game's first dungeon: the Forest Temple. A large clearing in the north of the woods was covered in a poisonous fog when the Twilight Realm took over the province, and it remained after the Twilight was dispelled. This fog dissipates when exposed to Link's Lantern, however. The forest is also home to Coro, who sells Lantern Oil, and his pet myna bird, Trill, who sells red potions and lantern oil. It was a lone Twili, clothed in only an open robe with frills on the, overly lengthy, sleeves, a loin cloth, also with frills, and trousers that were certainly too long, also...with frills! The Twili was searching for something, his long hair, parted into three seperate parts, was moving freely, in all directions, as if Gravity had no effect upon them.
